13th of May 2012
Blog title is in Thai meaning sook san wan mae or Happy Mother’s Day:) Based on what I Googled, the Thai mother’s day is actually celebrated on the 12th of August, the Queen’s birthday. Since here in the Philippines, it’s celebrated on the month of May, we treated her like a royalty instead. So, yesterday, we went to My Thai Kitchen, an authentic Thai restaurant.
Someone needs to trim her fringes, and I just hate the spaces between them, haha.
I’m not really familiar with the Thai cuisine aside from their famous Pad Thai noodles.
With its cozy and relaxing interiors and of course, inviting ambiance, you’ll definitely have that tastier dining experience. Below are the foods we sink our teeth into.
Tod Man Pla (Thai fish cake)
Pad Thai Noodles
Khau Pad Siam (Fried rice Thai style)
Tom Kha Gai (Chicken with coconut lemon grass soup), not highly recommended. :p I just find its taste weird, or it’s just not compatible with my palate.
My sister goofing a pose, haha!
Me being crazy about their pseudo drawers LOL hahaha!
Once again, we go Asian with our food. It’s not my first time to eat at My Thai thou. I’m just very fond of eating different cuisine from different countries. Anyway, belated Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the planet. :)
