Your heart is a river that
flows from your chest
Through every organ
Your brain is the dam
And I am the fish who
can’t reach the cord.

20 April 2012

It’s Forever 21!!!! now open at The Block, SM North Edsa. My girls and I went there. Thank you for the company Bee & Tessa. lave ya both! Me gusta! :):)
After picking up our grad photos from our alma mater, we went to the opening of F21 in SM North. When we saw the loong line, we felt like we’re going to watch a blockbuster movie! haha!

with Tessa, one of my fasyon friend:):)

Twas a blast thou something strange happened. >< Honestly (and contrary to my smiling fez), this day wasn’t my day, I was upset but then… there will be better days:) I’ll just pray for it! Anyway, I’m still blessed. Really:):) hee!
Check out Bee’s / Tessa’s blog for more of F21 North:):) *shameless plug*
18 April 2012

This time I wasn’t alone.
Bee, Tessa, Mabie and I joined forces in our ‘planned’ job hunting expedition. We went to some companies along Ortigas as walk-in applicants.
After our looooooong walks, we felt really exhausted, yet it was fulfilling that we were able to somehow exhaust all options. Not a bad idea at all!

We had lunch at SM Megamall, strolled and shopped, hahaha. Yea, I bought something from F21, might blog about it soon. I hope my friends won’t spill the beans hahaha. We then went right away to Greenhills. Mabie met up with her beau while Bee, Tessa and I hunt some clothes for my sister in preparation for her Potipot trip. She asked me a favor to shop for her instead, since she’s a busy bee.
Verdict: Job application is way better and much fun when you have your friends with you. You’re not alone! I mean they’re like wind beneath your wings when you’re under someone’s withering glare of disdain, which is kind of intimidating, hahaha.
Anyhow, U might be wondering what happened to my exam? well, after the tremor it has caused me, announcement of results was moved this Fuhriday. *crossed fingers* prolonged agony, LOL :):)

From what I’ve experienced, when I was called for an ‘exam’ (not for an interview), it was somehow analogous with Hunger Games. I’m a mere representation of Primrose Everdeen who was anxious when she was called forth during the Reaping Day, a day in which, annually, one male and one female tribute in the age bracket of 12 to 18 are called forth from each district to fight to the death in an arena. (Source: Wikipedia)
re: my exam? one portion of it was the exact thing I did during my OJT in Mellow 94.7! talk about nostalgia. I didn’t expect that my experience there would come in handy.
Apparently, I need some decent sleep. I woke up at around 5:30-ish, waited for 1 and a half hours and got my brain drained for 4 hours or so.

Today I psyched myself up for possibilities.
I placed my cellphone in front of the altar (or rather the crucifix), knelt then prayed that someone would call me up for an interview. After a minute… God answered my prayer.
“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” - Psalm 37:4
The interviewee asked me to go to their office tomorrow. Agad agad talaga Lord?!
Wish me luck! :)
The heat is on! It’s Summerrr! (なつやすみ)
Scorching heat of the sun definitely gives us that icky feeling and by having our hairs tied up is definitely a lifesaver(!) for it could somehow ease the unbearable heat. While more often than not, whenever we tie our hair into a bun, it’s all messy and ogleh (ugly), but worry no more coz I’ve found the perfect tool from 1721 to achieve the perfect bun we’ve been yearning for.
1721 is a one stop online shop that sells an array of exceptional hair styling accessories from foldable headbands, clip-on bangs, hair extensions, hair spins, et al. You can spot them at the bazaar in Eastwood City (that’s a secret between me and you) :):)

This is a hair coiling tool that has a special function, it can help you make a princess’s ball hair (perfect hair bun), which is popular in most Asian countries especially Japan, instantly and quickly! This costs around 100php. You may also opt to use hair spins or sponge (the mini perfect bun maker). Hence, if you want to get your hair off your shoulders, you can do so easily with these tools.

First thing you need to do is to tie your hair into a HIGH ponytail, especially if you want a high giant hair bun similar to the popular Japanese and/or Korean hairstyle.

Put your hair through a hole in the middle of the hair coiling tool then compress slightly tight the middle of the hair coiling tool.

Roll it all up! If you got huge number of layers in your hair like mine, remember to leave about 2-3 inches of hair from the tip before you start rolling your way up!

Once you’ve fixed your hair into a circle then next step is to completely cover the hair coiling tool with your hair.
Voila! You now can haz the sweet princess’s ball hair or the perfect hair bun! :)

Optional: you may accessorize your bun by putting up some ribbons and the like. I used a giant flower hairpin from Forever 21.
This tutorial is for Summer, looking formal though hahaha! Well, this is suitable for other occasions as well :)
On a related note, I’m so proud! I’ve managed to take these photos all by myself using a tripod and the timer, to top it off, lens was set on manual hohoho~ I just realized I figure out things by instinct or by trial and error- be it manual photography (which I prefer most of the time), photoshop or answering an exam:):)

Next agenda of the pseudo blogger: the old fashioned way of curling your crowning glory. You see, I just blog whenever I feel like to :):) Anyhow, did I mention I like styling hair? People have been telling me I’m a hair guru, LOL.
